The Pact by Jodi Picoult 496 pgs read May 11-15 rating: 7/10
I think the only parent I liked was Emily's dad. I wasn't really clear on if Emily had repressed what happened to her or not. I think she did, which make sense why she never told anyone and didn't really know why she was feeling the way she did.
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult 455 pgs read March 16-19 rating 8/10
The subject of school shootings is something that fascinates and terrifies me at the same time. I found this book engrossing, but there were no real likeable characters. I'm not sure if I buy the big twist revealed during the trial.
Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult 352 pgs read Feb 5-10 rating: 6/10
Jodi Picoult's novels are always engaging as you're reading them. However, a lot of her characters are annoying. And the endings always seem to be a cop out. But that doesn't stop me from reading them.
